OLIVER DAWSON SAXON To Support DIO In UK

OLIVER DAWSON SAXON have been asked to be the special guests to DIO on his forthcoming UK tour.

Following several successful joint appearances in Europe last year, Ronnie James Dio has asked OLIVER DAWSON SAXON to open his shows in the UK. The band, which features original SAXON members Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson along with ex-SAXON drummer Nigel Durham, guitarist Haydn Conway (ex-SARACEN) and vocalist Wardi (ex-SHY),will be performing a set of classic SAXON material and a few new songs from their forthcoming studio album.

The DIO/OLIVER DAWSON SAXON dates are as follows:

Oct. 04 – London, UK @ Astoria
Oct. 05 – Wolverhampton, UK @ Wulfrun
Oct. 06 – Manchester, UK @ Academy
Oct. 07 – Glasgow, UK @ Barrowlands
Oct. 09 – Portsmouth, UK @ Pyramids

OLIVER DAWSON SAXON will be on stage at 8:00 p.m., and DIO will perform beginning at 9:30 p.m.
